CONGRATULATIONS! Not that tough was it? Hardest part was pushing it around the cones right? They used to make us do that here but whenever a guy dropped his 800 pound Hog he would just shoot the instructor.Sandymay wrote:Hopefully I can arrange for delivery soon!!!!

Congrats, so what does a M2 allow you to do? Not do?
Did you pass on a Grom?

Canada's 1000cc class, she's gearing for something much bigger than a scooter

It wasn't too bad, I just had to figure out how to stop overthinking it lol....
It was a different test than the one on YouTube. We did have the fun of pushing the bike with another rider on it during the training....not the most fun....the test involves emergency maneuvers, braking, swerving, stopping in a curve, slow speed maneuvers and then getting up to 30km an hour within a 7 second time frame, while keeping the bike within a two foot path.

Yes....loved riding the Grom, even without its fender and mirrors, as they were removed for the student training....davenowherejones wrote:Congrats, so what does a M2 allow you to do? Not do?

Re: Woohoo finally got my M2
Excellent news! We wait to hear how you like your new twist-and-go Forza, esp compared to the Grom. Forza is heavier (I think), but once you are moving you will find it plenty maneuverable. You will definitely like having the storage. By the way, if the seat doesn't stay firmly up, have the dealer fix it with the new piston replacement before you take delivery.
At least you will have a few months before the snow flies up north - enjoy your summer and new ride!

On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

You are right the Forza is about twice as heavy as the Grom, but has a lower seat by 2" and therefore a lower centre of gravity, so maybe more stable? I'm hopeful it won't be too heavy.

Thanks for the piston replacement advice, I'll have to check on that.

My plans are to keep the Forza for awhile, but if I win the lottery, I'd love to have a vintage Indian. Saw one on Barrett Jackson last weekend, baby blue with a side car......very sweet!!!!sendler2112 wrote:So what bike is next?

Re: Woohoo finally got my M2
A Big Congrats!! You did it! The grom looks like it's fun to ride and it looks cool too!
Much lighter than a Forza. However, there's a chance that you'll get use to its weight given more riding time. If not.....it's shopping time
YES!!
