Rear brake cable replacement help please

Hi all, had a look at my rear brake cable as the free play was too much so went to adjust it with the nut by the drum on the end of the cable and it just sheared straight off. By the looks of things I'll need a new brake cable assembly but does anyone have any videos, pictures or advice on how to go about fitting one, I'm fairly technically minded but not yet had a proper look at it. Any help would be appreciated. 2013 Honda PCX 125
