I see the hump on the seat has been removed (Humpectomy) looks good. I'm going to attach your Owners Manual in case the previous owner didn't supply one. When you have a few posts you can receive private messages... ask for a service manual and it can be linked in PM so you have what you need for service and maintenance information.

Thank You for the Owner's Manual!! I really appreciate this forum and the people here.
I've read a lot from some very interesting and helpful people.
I just removed the "pad" before this photo, I have completed the Humpectomy,
but I still want to reduce the hump some more.
I bought an ATV seat pad and that helped the comfort some, too.
I may actually remove more of the seat pan and rebuild it with some fiberglass to make the seat even flatter.
Now, it's time for lights!! I got my first ones in the mail yesterday and more are in transit!!

I did a couple of other "temporary" add-ons in the last couple of weeks.
I bought a ATV seat pad that covers the seat, so you can't see the holes left from the hump surgery.
And, in an effort to make the seat more comfortable, I am experimenting with a cushion under the seat pad.
It raises the front of the seat to nearly equal to the back of the seat.
I can still touch the ground, but the "leftover" hump(even with the two mounts completely removed)
doesn't hurt the derriere at all.
My plan is to use an example of another thread, and remove the current cover, replace the padding with
new foam, and then recover the seat.

Thoughts anyone?

My son bought a chair at a rent-to-own place and I saw it there and they threw it in for free!!
Of course when I told them I was going to use it as a mouse pad, they were both amused and amazed.
A couple of them realized how good of an idea it was.
Yeah, it's big, but it fits my keyboard and mouse and I still have room from my drink!! LOL!!!

I love those Add-ons! Your bike will definitely be visible at night. I do like the under-bike lights. However, and this is a BIG however...I found that when the temperature gets high enough under the seat area glued items start falling off. SOOO, if you are going to put lights where the heat is going to be high, consider something as a back up to hold them in place, like a dab of a high temperature glue of some sort in the very center of it. If the other glues let go, it will hold. Just a thought. So far I have had two lights that have come off due to heat, so I always find a backup method to hold them. I don't know how many times I have used tie wraps. I keep some of those under my seat. You never know when you will need them.

That's the idea, make me both as visible as possible and let me see as much as possible.
The COB LEDs will be mounted with 3M tape and 2 tiny zip ties each. That's how I mounted the other 2 that are already on the scoot.
I already have the 18W flood lights mounted and wired. These 18W spot lights will make good "low beams".

The parts for the "Flux Capacitor" have shipped and should be here in a couple of weeks.
I'm not sure about where to mount it, But I am thinking of putting it on the fuel door. Seems an appropriate place. LOL!!

The saddlebags are from walmart.
They are actually small coolers that I modified.
I removed the carry strap and then resewed them to a better position.
They are mounted by those straps that I also cut and used the length adjustment of the strap
as the width adjustment between the coolers.
Yes, with the straps adjusted to their full length, they fit well over my shoulders,
one cooler in front and one on my back.
It makes them easy to carry to and from the scoot.

I need to put up a new photo, as I am in the process of adding more lights!!!

So ya'll know, I took a look around the www and found Ruralking's pricing to be the cheapest. Just remember to add in shipping IF you Don't spend $99 ^

I have the same ones bought from Amazon in 2015. They're worth the money! But...
I plan on lengthening the straps And re-positioning the quick connects so that they'll be under the seat Not on the outside of the seat. In the photo you'll see the pads that protect your scoots grab bars (the straps and connector's rest on them) Nice touch. Still, I will take no chance and move the qwik connects to prevent any chance of marring. No biggie, snip snip

Picture when my scoot was new with bags. (I do not keep them mounted year round). The medium tall Givi windscreen didn't last long. I removed it almost immediately and sold it. Too much drifting on the roadways. That's another topic though

Nice Bags!! I just wanted something cheap, simple and quick(no shipping)
I may have to order those, I am in the market for something less "Walmarty"
One benefit of the ones I "made" is the hard plastic insert.
I can put a few drinks and ice in one and it won't leak.
Nice for road trips!!

The "Scooter Logic" bags aren't bad from reviews and videos I've seen too. May get a set, but TBH the stock PCX underseat stowage has been working out well for me. I've got some older style Dowco Rally Packs on my Roughhouse 50 that I leave on year-round because the underseat storage on that. . .although good. . .is nowhere near what the PCX has.

Speaking of saddlebags etc - I just replaced my Givi 34L top box with a 47L one. Love it. Wish I'd done it sooner. So far I've got first aid kit, another box of assorted bits, full rain gear, iPad, umbrella, tyre inflator, tie-down strops, hat, hood, few other bits - and it's only about 1/2 full. And the new box was only NZD $229.

Quick thought for owners of 2013/14 "hump" models that have had a humpectomy - give some thought to covering the holes with round vinyl repair patches - should be a quick and easy way to get it waterproof without costing anything significant.
