Center stand
Hi, new to the forum, just bought a 2013 Pcx 125 and it came with the center stand removed, now I'm not fussed about it, but if I wanted one what are my options, I mean are there any custom ones?
Thanks in advance, JP

If it's a pre ESP model it may have been removed for a reason. The centre stand mounts are weak and can crack the crankcase.
Easiest way to check if it's an ESP is to look for the badge on the air filter box.
There are a couple of centrestands on ebay ATM.

Re: Center stand
Listen to youyou on that, If it is eSP someone removed it for the 7 pounds it weighs most likely. Might be some other performance add ons given he did that

Strange to remove it then. I think I'd inspect the mounts to see if there is any reason for that and then look to eBay to get something complete with pivot, spring etcThe Poacher wrote:Hi, it is an ESP

Re: Center stand
There are only three reasons for center stand removal as far as I know. The first was for the pre-ESPN model because of failures. The second is because because of weight reduction. The third is because many members in the UK have mentioned problems with hitting the center stand when taking good a roundabout at a sharp angle. Too bad you were not given the pulled part and allowed to make your own decision.

Ok, thanks for all the replies , what's needed is someone to make an alloy one of a different shape perhaps..

Re: Center stand
I have a 2001 model, when I picked it up the first thing I did was put it on the centre stand which promptly sheared off at the crankcase mounts, I have not bothered with it for the last two years and have got on fine. When removing wheels etc all I do is lift the bike onto an upside down supermarket shopping basket

I don't know how much the parts would cost you, but it is obvious that they are available online. Do a Google search on your computer for this part number: 50505-kzy-305
