Sorry to hear about that, but best to say good bye , because if its anything like the US the bike is in the back of some box truck on its way to its customer, parts house, or container ship headed for points off shore. I was wondering ..do they check every truck crossing the English Channel??
If its a kid's joy ride, you probably wouldn't want it back after they finish with it and crash it. With hope your insurance carrier will replace it with a brand new shinier one.

Sometimes they come back full circle. Sounds hard to believe but it actually happened to me years ago when my Suzuki T250 X6 got stolen. Long story. . .I won't bore you with the details but it's true.

I had the same bike, same colour a few years ago. Bought it new and did about 40,000kms in a couple years, mainly leisure riding. I think to this day it is the best bike I ever owned. Hope your mate gets it back again soon!

I'm normally a gentle soul, but when karma catches up with the scum that stole it I hope the consequence is both protracted and painful.
I'd love to see more sting operations setup to catch and imprison the low-life who do things like this.
