Hot wired Stolen PCX125 2014 , 4-pin connector missing
Hi,
Need a detailed picture of a 4 pin connector which is being inserted from the bottom side of the ignition barrel (comes as part of the harness) as I realised this is a connector which is being cut while scooter is being hot wired during theft. My scooter has been recovered smashed and having to buy a whole harness is a last resort.
If any one has any picture or also advice on how I could replace it, I would be very thankful. Alternatively is someone knows about any possibility where I can get the harness second-hand as most of the harnesses on the internet are from older models.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Are the pins still visible on the bottom of the barrel?

Yes they seem to be still intact. Cant take another picture right now as the scooter is stored in a different location at the moment.

I'd be tempted to connect them without the block using tabs or solder if there was sufficient access.
Again I'm sure someone else will chip in but the four wires must be?

Is your scooter an LED light version or the earlier one?

Re: Hot wired Stolen PCX125 2014 , 4-pin connector missing
Actually I am very interested to see the connector due to the reason this is a second pcx stolen from me. This model is LED late 2014 so I guess 2015. I see many people buying the whole harness loom for 215 pounds only to source this one connector. Then they are trying to sell the incomplete harness on eBay for 40-60 pounds.

The circuit diagram(s) have been posted and indeed can be found off google - they should be able to help with wiring connectivity - google often provides better searches for topics on this forum than the native search function (so I have found on many occasions)

Re: Hot wired Stolen PCX125 2014 , 4-pin connector missing
Hi everyone,
Appreciate the effort. Wiring diagram will be helpful as I could not find a diagram with this sort of high resolution. I have checked the web with connectors seems a good find. Let's see if I can spot something suitable.
However I can't give up. I have big hopes someone will post a picture of the actual connector so I can sleep once again at night.
I will share my find for parts catalogues on one of the Indonesia site, however buying the whole harness is a no no for now.

I'll keep you informed about the progress.

Can you get any clues for which wire goes where from the eBay pictures? Blowing up the picture of the terminal if it is visible?

Re: Hot wired Stolen PCX125 2014 , 4-pin connector missing
Hi,
This is all I can see from pictures already available (if photos posted mach the model). I dont think there is an issue to wire it directly using 4 female spades, the issue is keeping it waterproof and in place due to vibrations and other elements; hence I need a suitable male plug with 4 female spades and indeed best would be to find the closest match possible (noone really wants to take it a part again&again if it disconnects of falls off). The goal is to find a ready to use product (or perform minimum adjustments) which is ready to use.
So I appeal to all owners if anyone has a photo of the missing plug please post it. This will help 1000s. 22 scooters are stolen in London daily and so far many went with the earlier posted solution buying the whole harness and and cut it off. This is a real waste in my humble opiion.

Use spades then. Solder them, use shrink tube. Then seal with resin after you've confirmed everything is OK. Maybe a bit of duct tape, because...why not.
I don't think I'd worry to much about having an actual plug. It's more for assembly/disassembly. Hardwiring it is no big deal.

Re: Hot wired Stolen PCX125 2014 , 4-pin connector missing
Hi all,
So I have a small breakthrough in terms of the photo of the actual connector. Big thank you to the good soul who provided it; who probably damaged his/her bike few weeks back. The photo shows a cream-white 4 pin connector from the rear plugged in to the bottom of the ignition barrel. Seems like there is also a rubber shround around to protect it. So here am I sharing it with all of you if you ever need it.
Now the second stage is to find the closest match or the original connector if possible. Indeed I might end up using spades and hard-wiring it as you suggest, but this not my objective for now.

Re: Hot wired Stolen PCX125 2014 , 4-pin connector missing
Hi all,
So we are slowly getting to the end of this journy. I will be paying £5 for identification of the connector as an act of good will if things go smoothly tomorrow. I have found a UK supplier, ordered and received 35 connectors (unfortunatelly I had to buy 35 of them as this was the minimum order). Upon delivery I found out that connector came without micro spades included...a minor setback I guess (even though I was really turning my head for a while... like really what's next).
I will be trying it for real tomorrow if it fits ...so sit tight for an update.
