Brand new pcx

Hi everyone just purchased a brand new pcx last week and i have just noticed a little rust spot on a weld on the centre stand am I being picky lol

Can we see? Rarely someone reports this but in the past they've lived in salt air ocean proximity and mostly a muffler. Superficial but how many weld joints show this?

This is normal wear and tear on your center stand IMO. The scratches I put at the start of the season and this has not even rusted yet. Pretty solid construction and decent molecular alloy steel. Brush it up and paint if it annoys you I guess.

My scoot has the same thing on pretty much all welding spots. It's like the paint didn't stick to wheal and some of the paint has chipped off. Some light rust on the exposed metal now. I also found it disappointing as I haven't seen that on any of my other scoots or bikes.
