Wet season in the UK
Screen or no screen? My Burgman used to keep the rain of nicely and after this weekends belting rain I was out there thinking should I fit one. Could always swap them in the summer.

Re: Wet season in the UK
Easier to get a decent jacket (even some £50 ones from Ebay these days are good to stop most rain) and then add a £10 Portwest rainjacket over it (the S440 size L over a L Armr Moto Kiso jacket has kept me dry in downpours and lasted many years).

Re: Wet season in the UK
A tall screen is only going to have any effectiveness keeping rain off when travelling at speed.
If you're an urban commuter a tall screen on a PCX will make no appreciable difference whatsoever.

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Fair point on a better jacket mines a bit old. Used to wear yellow road workers rain coat, seriously visible and keeps you dry. Or been looking at these, doesn't matter what he's on he's well covered and look how happy he is : D

If you get that one, you run the risk of being mistaken for the Flying Nun.
