I would like to run a tack, Who is using one, do you like it, where can I get a good one but not high $ and
one that is easy to hookup.
Please let me know.
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it!
Koso is nice, no mount kit comes with it so you can fix it anyway you like. Recommend strapping to the bars somewhere with velcro or bands. All you do is wrap the lead around the sparkplug wire several times. I has the ability to show RPM for single or multiple cylinders, comes set up for twin so you must change its default setting. The instructions are in broken english but you can read between the lines. You will need to remove the lower panel to route the wire with any tachometer.
Fix it to the bars, run the leed down the column with the rest of the cables. Guide it along the undercarriage to the sparkplug and wrap it around the wire 10-15 times. Done!
Now they have a stainless bracket for it I may have to order that since I don't use my rearview mirror mounting locations it would bolt there nicely. But check to see if there is anywhere else to bolt the bracket before you buy it.

Iv'e had good service from this one for a couple years for those who like digital. There is a mount that was recently offered for it (see frequently bought together) https://www.amazon.com/Koso-BA003040-Mi ... Tachometer
Correct, that might be an issue, for the price the gamble seemed worth it.
These only take a pulse off one plug, and that one plug only gets one pulse per revolution, so RPM should be triggered the same regardless of the number of cylinders. From recall my digital strobe light has a switch for the RPM readout, so there may be an issue--i'll check it against the digital tach.
It hasn't arrived, when it does I'll update the forum.
