Keep The whole thing outside the bikes circuits, just get a cordless rechargeable… I have filled both my tires and still have power left, and I’ve done my car tires once and still had power left… It also automatically shuts off at the desired air pressure so there’s no filling, then checking , then filling, then checking, you just hook it up and go.

Re: Tire Inflator Blew My 5A Fuse
I bought an SAE plug off eBay, having 10gauge wire with the better insulation, crimped on a fuse and terminals and put longer battery screws in. It's mainly for the battery maintainer, but will power a heated suit, air pump, etc. When the battery maintainer is plugged in I fold up the microfiber cloth stored under the seat and put it between the seat latch and the latch mechanism to keep the seat gasket from putting pressure on the wire coming out of the storage area, which could dent the gasket and ruin the seal.

I ran my wire of the Battery tender to the glove box. Drilled a small hole and pulled the cable thru. So clean it also charges my cell phone and bluetooth head set.

Re: Tire Inflator Blew My 5A Fuse
Quick question, how easy is it to fit the pump to the tyre valve? Reason for asking, i have a 240v mini compressor and the (so called) easy fit adaptor is almost impossible to fit to the valve. It takes minutes to top up the pressure due to leakage around the valve connector.you you wrote:Jge64 wrote:Keep The whole thing outside the bikes circuits, just get a cordless rechargeable… I have filled both my tires and still have power left, and I’ve done my car tires once and still had power left… It also automatically shuts off at the desired air pressure so there’s no filling, then checking , then filling, then checking, you just hook it up and go.

Use a one way L valve....I use this one, only when filling, you just need one:JohnL wrote:Quick question, how easy is it to fit the pump to the tyre valve? That's a nice kit PCX888. Here is the result of my quick 3D model and print from a couple months back. It could be much better, buy I'm not going to bother.
