Flat seat for tall rider
I'm 6'5" and love my 2015 PCX125, but am looking for a replacement seat. I want to sit further back on the seat and even though I don't have the "hump" problem, the newer pcx version seat still has a smaller ridge across it which is uncomfortable to sit on. Has anyone come across a replacement seat which would effectively make it flat, like a bench, and therefore allow me to sit further back? Most of those I can see online are designed for the older pcx with the hump problem, or they don't look like they are flat.

You can find just about any type of seat for a PCX at this site, and they keep you informed on the progress after receiving your money. I have purchased several seats from them in the past, and I am quite happy with them.

Re: Flat seat for tall rider
I'm 6"3" tall, when I rode a Honda pcx 125, when they came out I found it very small in size, now on my 4th Honda sh 125, [must like them] its different then the 3rd one [shouldn't be..?????????] only the colour, but the stepped seat keeps pushing me forward.
And its just that bit too close, but the Honda vision 110, that also I ride is sooo much better, I can sit that little bit away, now I have a Suzuki Address 110 scoot it's the same, seat is flatter but they all have 1 thing in common, they all have a flat floor and I find it much better.
Don't know about the Honda sh125 mode though. Have to have a sit on one.

Heck, I am a towering 5-6 and when I had the PCX125 I removed the hump and put a cover over the seat. It was worth every cent. Flat floors scoots are nice, everything else out there motorcycles, bicycles you have to throw a leg over. that alone makes flat floors very cool.

Hi Mel, can you comment on the "move back seat area" options ? I'm 5'8" but would like to be able to shift back sometimes, do you recall which option you chose? Thanks !Mel46 wrote:Like this one?

Thanks Mel, that looks like a good option. Two questions - like Springer asks above, have you ever taken the option to shift the seat back? Also, when you have got seats have you gone with the more expensive seal? Seems like this would be important to keep water out.

Thanks WhiteNoise, it's a great thread. Unfortunately I'm not particularly handy myself so I think the aftermarket seat is probably the best option for me!

Re: Flat seat for tall rider
I’ve been using this seat for two years and love it. I’m able to select any portion of the seat that I want to sit on. From Bikerzbitz.com

Re: Flat seat for tall rider
The seat that I chose was probably one of the first ones where they moved the back brace back. Here is the link to the one I purchased.

This seat gave me plenty of room to slide back when I needed to, but to make the seat as comfortable as possible I added a gel cushion and created a back support made from packing foam for longer rides. That back support has a slot for a 1 gal. gas container as well.

Did you have any issues with the seller of your seat at all?
