My 2017 only came with the helmet leash (wire thing). I use it occasionally and it does come in handy.
That being said I do carry some tools that will do in a pinch and cable lock. Need to leave room for the groceries or cat food.

Added an SAE plug to the battery for keeping it charged over winter and what did I find? Jerry bag with a tow strap in it on top the battery, held in by the retention band.
Talked with Squirrel about Honda's packaging scheme and she said that's all they come with nowadays, Cedar Creek Motorsports put that toolkit together for her at no charge. That was really nice of them, she's got the basics to tighten up any loose screws/nuts if necessary, anything more and it's probably a towable offense anyway.

Wha---what helmet???
It's not a car, it only needs a tiny tow strap. Serious, bro.

Tow strap? You gotta be kidding....a bit short for a tow strap...LOL
Correct, it’s for helmets that have short connection rings, like a Schuberth, to use on left side hook.

According to the pcx owners manual that I have, page 61, it’s called it a helmet wire.
