So I want to do a mod (will describe later in a how to) which I need to run a wire from the inside the glove box around the steering column and to the ignition side. I've read the service manual and was thinking I could pull off the rear meter panel to accomplish this. After reading how to remove the rear meter panel for 2018 model apparently you have to remove the front cover which then requires removing a bunch of other things as where prior 2013 it was justing popping up the meter panel.
So my question is then if I remove the LEFT INNER OUTER COVER and the RIGHT INNER OUTER COVER will that give me enough open space to snake a wire from one side to the other?
Or is there an easier way to remove the back meter panel than outlined in the service manual?
Thanks for any input you can offer...

Re: 2018 PCX Running Wire From Glove Box To Ignition Panel
Once you have removed both outer covers you will be left with a massive black inner cover that is a pain to get out- don't think you'll get away in running a wire between the two covers; from memory i don't think there is enough space. See my 3rd pic here http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8459. Anyway you will have to remove the black inner cover to have access to the ignition, so i don't think you have a lot of options...
