Re: Is something wrong with my 2011 pcx
In response to SPOFF, my 2011 does hit bang on 65mph but it does have a fairly recent belt on it. I can definitely feel it hit the rev limiter as a slight misfire. Actually thinking now, my belt has around 5,000 miles on it. Wonder if pcxflame's belt has been changed for a slightly different different width.

Re: Is something wrong with my 2011 pcx
Woohoo just did my third fill up today and calculated mileage was 92 mpg. first was 76 second 83 now 92. I think the weather warming up might be the reason mileage is getting better maybe. I rode until the fuel gauge was flashing and it took 1.344 gal. Pretty Happy.

My own Forza also gets much thyrstier with the cold, and vice versa. From 30-33 km/l to 23-25. thought something might be wrong with it, but no. I have also noticed that, after about 20 km on the road -- even in the cold -- it would climb back to 30+ km/l.
Looks like PGM-FI likes its engines warmed up.

Now I’m wondering about my mpg. Need to run the tank dry but it looks like 70 mpg

You don't really need to run it dry. Fill it up, set the trip ODO to zero. Ride for 100 miles or so and fill up again. Divide your miles by the gallons required to fill it back up, and you got it. Do it a half dozen times and you have a pretty good number.

Re: Is something wrong with my 2011 pcx
My bike is a 150cc. I don't think mine has ever gotten less than 100 mpg. Two things might contribute to this.
First, I ride till the bike is warmed up, which means that I very seldom use the bike to go 2 miles down the road to the store without adding more miles after picking up groceries, just for the fun of it.
Second, when traveling around just to see the scenery I try to keep the speed between 45 - 55 mph. That seems to be the sweet spot for this bike. It could probably run all day between those speeds.
To add to all of this, I change the oil, belt, air filter and other disposable items often.
