My girlfriend rides her PCX everyday, rain or shine, so I'd like to get her a leg cover for her birthday, as she has shown interest in this kind of kit.
Been looking at the official Honda and the Tucano Urbano termoscud
The Honda one seems like a small apron for your legs only, the tucano urbano covers a bit more.
Any thoughts on this kind of item?

Re: legs cover
I've got the Termoscud for my Sh300i. They keep you warm and dry. I couldn't get the towel of mine to stop pooling water in the rain. The SH one has a hole with a flap to reach the ignition, and a draught gets in through it. There easy to fit but you have to be careful that the straps don't rub on your scoot. It's a bit weird to start with because they restrict you putting your foot down, but I got used to it and never felt it unsafe.

Just get some decent riding gear.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Re: legs cover
The installation of the termoscud looks a bit cumbersome, requiring to screw things to the bike, but also seems to offer the most protection.
We have mainly good weather here, and rain only for about 3 months of the year.
(Great avatar image, btw)

My thoughts also, I guess I'll give her a new helmet instead.gn2 wrote:Just get some decent riding gear.

Re: legs cover
The reason I got mine was that I only had a 5 minute commute to work and then was often pottering around visiting people for work, and it's easier than taking gear on and off all the time.gn2 wrote:Just get some decent riding gear.
