Your thoughts on these color combo's
Any thoughts on any of these color combinations. I am thinking about doing one of them just for something a little different. Personally, I like the first one the best. Panels are cheap!

Re: Your thoughts on these color combo's
I like 3 and 5. I think white and red would be an amazing combo too!

I think they sell a red and white PCX in Canada (national colors and all...)Teamtd11 wrote:I think white and red would be an amazing combo too!

Yep, this is it, although personally I think an inverse colour job would look nicer.Urbanian wrote:

Re: Your thoughts on these color combo's
My own thoughts to the colour combos, I am not personally keen on mixing up the front panels colouring with the trim colouring above lights/below windshield.
I kind of like number 2 and 4..with 4 being preference personally.

I do like the way the red comes stock. I wouldn't change it.
However, if white had been available in the 150, I would have bought it first.
That said, I think this is probably one of my favorites:

Re: Your thoughts on these color combo's
Hmm....I'm not really a fan of the choices after #1, sorry. Are those grey panels? How about black instead? Although I think white might (?) look better in the mix with red? Just my 2cents. Dunno. Spray painting is another idea? Yikes
There are some very good canned plastic sprays on the shelves, i.e.: Krylon Fushion, RustOleum. Best I sprayed was an exterior dryer exhaust cover and an exterior light fixture. Pretty cool stuff. Would I take on some scoot panels? With a friend perhaps (I'd need some confidence support
)

Re: Your thoughts on these color combo's
I also like the first one best. Then again, I'm partial to the stock arrangement for white and red. Black is just all black.

Re: Your thoughts on these color combo's
The panels are actually supposed to be Black, I used Photoshop to mock these up using a color replacement tool. Anyway, yes they are black.WhiteNoise wrote:Hmm....I'm not really a fan of the choices after #1, sorry. Are those grey panels? How about black instead? Choice #1 is my favorite too. Painting is a good idea, and I did think of that option too. But these two lower panels are less than $10 ea., and easy to replace. So it made sense to me to simply swap them out.

Alrighty C-Note good choice
So the deed is done then? I doodle around with coloring using paint (I know it's sloppy and a pita, but I doodle anyway). I used a black pcx for this one, then I colored away

I have not done anything just yet. Probably will wait until spring now since the bike is stored now.WhiteNoise wrote:Alrighty C-Note good choiceSo the deed is done then? That's the idea. In Photoshop you can select/define an area and use the Brush Tool to 'replace' the color in the selected area. So when I do it, I select panel outlines. The replacement tool keeps the lighting the same so it looks pretty good.

I like #1 the most.
Re: Your thoughts on these color combo's
If I need to start replacing panels on my white 125 I may get reds or blacks as a combo mix with any remaining whites. Red wasnt a choice here until the 150 came out. Scooters should be colorful, not drab all black or grey!

Re: Your thoughts on these color combo's
I'm going for an all black look but with the side and fuel cover consoles "shiny" black instead of the dull black stock Honda look. Should look sweet I think.Taz wrote:If I need to start replacing panels on my white 125 I may get reds or blacks as a combo mix with any remaining whites.
