I love the pictures as well. I am also impressed at the number of motorcyclists there were in the pictures.
I think every country has lost solders in wars, and it is good to remember them. It is an unfortunate part of history that we have wars, but as time goes by enemies become friends, and wars become history. If a discussion goes beyond remembering and honoring, and into politics, then you will have stepped on the forum rules.

Those are pictures that you just don't see in encyclopedias every day. . .an important historical site indeed.

Thank you for continuing to share your riding adventures.

Riding on two wheels is surely one of life's better experiences.

Re: My "The Battle of Gallipoli" trip, 1915-1916
megalodon,
My comment is merely a generalization of what the forum rules are concerning your comments, not what I personally think. Politics is a very general thing, but if it MIGHT step on somebody's toes (sorry, American term for hurting someone's feelings) then it is off limits. There are some things that are commonly known to cause arguments. Those are things we try to stay away from.
This forum is an international forum, and it is here as a means of interacting with others who enjoy riding, especially on scooters, and who enjoy the same experiences, albeit in different places.
We enjoy the variety of pictures and comments from every corner of the world. In order to continue enjoying them we have certain rules. In general, remember that your next door neighbor (countries that border yours) may be on this forum as well, and we enjoy their company just as much as we enjoy yours.
