Re: Technical help?
Hi guys,
my bike was serviced at 417miles, which is when i took delivery of it (ex demo bike) and its now at 2800 and due its service. I have been quoted at £125 for it ($197.43) its at an official Honda Bike Dealer, in email exchange he told me -
"I wouldn’t worry about Valve adjustments on the PCX until you start getting it into very high mileage."
my previous scoot was about £100 to be serviced, is this about right for the PCX?
thanks guys,

£125 from a main Honda dealer is about right.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Re: Technical help?
The subject of what oil to use in a PCX, and what is not needed (MB Moly for instance) deserves a 'sticky' or such or a place in the FAQ on it's own with a chart or 'best knowledge to date' section and new users guided there. I was one of those people asking about oil - more than once - and gained the knowledge the owners manual is wrong (Honda stick MB rated oil in but it is not needed for a dry clutch and not easily obtainable in Europe anyway and not many if any dealers even stock it). Many dealers stick any good part or fully synth 4-stroke oil in and the PCX runs fine.

Re: Technical help?
Oil changes more frequent (wonder why) but spark plug and air filter less frequent (not checked all things). Strange.

Re: Indicator madness
Can someone help......
A few months back my indicators stopped working both on dash and actual indicator, randomly they started working again once I turned ignition off and on. Again this situation happened on and off for a few months and now it happens more regularly. Now if I turn the hazards on push indicator right then turn off hazard they start to work, it’s the most bizarre situation. Sometimes they dont work at all?

Re: Technical help?
Hi there I hope someone can give me some help or advice,
I have a 2017 Honda PCX, she has done just over 6k miles now, bit for the last 3 weeks and just before she hit 6k miles I have had issues getting her started, at first I thougjt spark plug but changed that, still no luck, i took it too the Honda garage I bought it from paid £100 to basically be told to use premium fule (which I was doing already as it was a new and tiny tank so not much price difference), however the starting issue os still on going and gettkng worse, and I work out in a rural area so it not starting out there would be a real problem. So if anyone has thougjts and advice on this problem I would be most greatful for some help.
-also apologies to any forum mods if I have put this in the wrong place.-

Re: Technical help?
Hi Everyone.
I need help Replacing the Headlight bulbs on my PCX 150.
I am a new member here on the Forum. I have a 2013 Honda PCX 150 that I bought used 2 years ago. Last year the Lo beam headlight bulbs went out. So I switched to Hi beam. At that time I ordered some replacement halogen bulbs from China. When they came in I tried to replace the old headlight bulbs by reaching up under the HL assembly and rubber boot cover as some on this forum and YouTube have suggested. I was unable to get a good enough grip or leverage on the old bulb to remove that way. Last week my hi beam light bulbs went out. So I have tried again the reach up under method and the old bulbs appear stuck or frozen. Can anyone share with me another method to get them out? Are there any other options? Removing the windshield and or cover? I am hoping someone knows of another way to get better access so I can replace the bulbs.
Thank you.
Jeff

Re: Indicator madness
Mines a 2014 LED model - Honda have sent me several letters to get the LED module replaced FOC at a dealer as many have issues where the lights stop working. I've had no issues so not bothered but it affected many bikes. If your bike is affected, you are the registered owner then they should have contacted you. It may be worth email Honda with your vehicle serial (not reg) and model (code inside seat) and asking.Kevrow wrote: ↑Tue Jun 26, 2018 4:23 pm Can someone help......
