ACF 50 is good stuff but applying it correctly is an art form.

I've Googled for AF50 but did not find anything that would make sense :|
Did you refere to ACF-50? Could you share a link?
Thanks!
Sorry - yes ACF-50. Thought I'd corrected that. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ACF-50-Anti- ... Swp41bJgI9. Might be better not to use the spray bottle that comes with it. The cheaper pressurized makes a frothy mess imo.

I can start a list of where NOT to put this stuff right now.

1. Rear view mirror knuckles... still wishing I hadn't let a liquid wax get in there. Mirrors will move on their own with any lubricant.

2. Brake disc's for obvious reasons.

3. Seats and floor boards.

4. Tires / tyres & terrs DA!

5. ? help me out please

So NO you just can't hose it down.

Good tips Homie. I intend to apply it carefully, starting only with the critical areas like central and side stand, exhaust.

Now I have a question. Yesterday i washed both bikes. After using a chamois cloth, I took out our battery operated leave blower and blew all of the excess water out of the hidden places.

Then I took them each for a short ride around the neighborhood to make sure everything was working like normal.

They were, except they had picked up some small squeaks here and there, such as the brake lever area and some place in the front. I just noticed that when I went slowly over a speed bump.

Now, I don't know if these squeaks will go away on their own or if I should try to do something about them. Any suggestions? I don't recall them having any squeaks in the past.

I am hearing impaired and all of the small squeaks have disappeared in my life.

Maybe I should get a normal person to check out my machines for me.

I live beside the CN/CP main line in to Vancouver. It is getting quieter. I have forest fire choppers overhead continuously. The TransCanada Highway and Lougheed Highway have too many trucks and they all jake brake going into the Flying J truck stop. The lawnmowers are a nuisance when I push them. There were many Harley groups out riding today.

I think I might throw my hearing aids in the garbage and call it a day. The ladies at the barbecue were all screeching yesterday. Time for a long Forza ride and not coming back.

That is true. I just dont know if some of the squeaks can be taken care of or should be left alone...or if they need some special care. The bike runs fine. It just developed some squeaks.

you want a silicone/teflon spray, not a corrosion fighter, if you're trying to eliminate squeaks. If you go into a good car dealership that knows what they're doing, and you complain about body panel squeaks, this is what they use.

Hmmm.....I believe I have some of that in my basement, somewhere. I will have to look among the cans of various "stuff" I have on the shelves. Thanks.
