On holidays in the Alps-Maritimes right now. Saw this beauty at the lovely Saint-Paul du Vince. In the midst of the latest mid to large twist 'n go one-upmanship, thare she stood in all her glory.
I wonder if the light still flips open after all those years.

That is a "secret agent" scooter. If you know the code, and you enter it into the number pad correctly, it will turn into a PCX.
...or maybe that number pad is just instructions on how to start it.

I dunno, but the whole mess of it looks like a cardboard box ta me eyes.
I roared at James Bond gadgetry. I just might be a believer

This had to be from that period when the Japanese were still reverse engineering everything.
Someone sent them a disassembled Westinghouse home dishwasher...with no instructions.
They added the tires and -- Bob's Your Uncle! -- Honda Powerappliances was born!
I seem to recall that Yamaha received a wringer washer. ...wich of course lead to their conveyance. ..think it was called the Morose (or should have been)

You have to be careful with that combination. 8-8-4 shoots out gumballs... or is it silly string?? Hard to read the instructions. :-)

But Wait!
That Is a Number Pad!
I've looked closer, that's a dirty scoot used in an *ousted scene from E.T. (well, minus the basket)

That would be combination key press 8-8-3
I wouldn’t do that. It might turn into a Sportster.
Thus the need for the instruction book. Turn these secret agents loose without one and who knows what combination they might press!
This looks like a bike agent double not not 7 1/2 might use.

Yes! Just ride that bike through a car wash, and Presto!, a new PCX will come out the other side! Best restoration ever!
(the number pad shorted out, and it went to its default setting.)
