Is it normal for the left brake lever to need more pressure?

It seems like it takes a bit more pressure to activate/feel the brakes with the left lever than the right lever. As in the left lever has to travel further. Is this normal? Both brake lines have just been flushed.

Has this extra travel on the rear brake lever appeared just after you had the brakes "flushed"?
if not you could try the rear brake adjuster situated left side of rear wheel,it might just be your rear shoes have worn a bit,and the brake needs adjusting.

It's seems to have always been there. After the flush however the right lever "stiffened up a a bit" and seems to require less travel.

what do you mean by "flushed"? (sorry for my ignorance)

the right brake is operated hydraulically so you could renew the fluid (flush?) but the left brake is literally just a cable pulling on a lever.

My guess is that your brake shoes are a little worn, try the adjuster as suggested but only adjust and then test half a turn at a time as it makes a big difference.

Also after you adjust them put your bike on its' centre stand and make sure the rear wheel moves freely if it doesn't then adjust it back half a turn

The left will feel different to the right. Different braking systems.

Don't worry about it anymore as long as the bike stops quickly using one or both.

Left is for drum brakes on a PCX, isn't it?
Right is the front disc - drum brakes are less effective and require a bit more pull, and still won't match a disc.
Yes, keep the adjustment maintained.

I believe the left is rear drum + 1of 3 pistons on the front disc. Right is 3?( maybe other 2) pistons on front disc. You can easily adjust the rear drum to tighten up the left response.

Left (rear brake for the most part) is rear drum via cable and part hydraulic middle of three pistons on the front (CBS) - right (front brake only) is the outer two pistons and pure hydraulic (bar a few cm's pull thing)
