I hear ya about the BMW. I have a beautiful BMW R1100S in my garage which mostly just sits there while I ride my scooters every day. I do have to admit the S would come in handy out there in the HOV lane on the Stemmons, though..

51, live in Bermuda. Maximum allowed motorcycle/scooter engine capacity is 150cc or 15bhp.
The PCX is one of the few small capacity scooters that fit me well.
Most feel like driving a motorized bar stool.
The only other choice in large, comfortable scooters on the island is the Kymco Downtown.
Not sure exactly what, but something drew me more to the PCX.
I had a 150cc Johnny Pagg Raptor, but my wife can't drive a geared bike, and we couldn't afford to have two bikes.

I am 70 got a 2013 & 2016 PCX Have a 1976 Harley chopper that I can no longer ride because of poor health. But been riding for 51 years.

See, we ride longer in Georgia! Why do you have two PCX's? One for you and one for the Mrs.?? That is why I have two, though my wife hasn't gotten on one since her accident, though this Spring may be the time to try again.
By the way, where do you ride? We have a problem getting out of our subdivision these days because of the crazy traffic. It seems like there is an accident every single day in the area in front of our entrance. Drivers think of that light as an option, not a mandate.

I'm 59 and bought my PCX 125 new last year. I thought I was getting on a bit for all this, but obviously not!

I am 37. In may this year decided to buy a more high-speed scooter for the city PCX150, 2015, which has passed testing. Himself from Belarus, city Gomel. Scooter brought his way from Moscow, it is about 650км from home. Mostly ride by myself, sometimes I drive my daughter - 4 years.

Based on all the grumpy responses on the Burgman forum - the majority have to be 65+ years old.
Of course buying an $9,000 (OTD) 400cc scooter which quickly settles to a value of $3,500 will make anyone a little snarky.
