My old Ride from 2011
Bought in July 2011.
Sold in November 2012.
We had some wonderful rides together me and my good ole' 125
Here are some photos from the old touring setup days. Thinking about getting me those side panniers again. Only problem with em was that they weren't waterproof.

Re: My old Ride from 2011
Maddie dont you remember? From the other forum "clubpcx.com" ?
I'd have to say the upgrade was quite bad as I don't really like the 150, but it sure does have good zip on that throttle. I miss my 125, but next year I hope to get myself the new HONDA FORZA 300i coming out in Thailand soon.

Oh yea, that's a beautiful bike. I used to own a 2001 NSS250A Forza (they called it the Reflex here though) several years ago. The new one looks very nice.

Re: My old Ride from 2011
BlackBandit, I'm not remembering your 125 from the other forum (color me this: ), but I would like to go over to the "other" forum to read your 125 to 150 changeout. Can you tell us the title of the thread over "there?" I do know this,....if my 125 looked as purdy as yours, I would never part with it Why don't you like the 150? I actually was considering trading my 125 in this past fall, but white in a 150 is not an option here. Being nosy and curious, Why did you leave CA if you liked it so much? I'm going through withdrawal over leaving FL this past spring.

Re: My old Ride from 2011
WhiteNoise here is the thread from the other site:
http://www.clubpcx.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=610
Remember me now Maddie? I couldn't find my login details here with my old user name "PCXSouthernClub" so now I made this new one, the Black Bandit, seeing that my PCX is now black
WhiteNoise here is my personal opinion of the 150:
Got super acceleration
Quick pickup from 0-100km/hr (here we use km)
Better air filter system with water guard compared to the old 125 design
Sleek fuel cover opener hehehehe
But the downfalls are (and don't get me wrong, its just me):
smaller underseat due to a bigger cylinder head
smaller fuel tank compared to the whopping 6.3 litre 125 version
HUGE consumption difference or maybe not, as the tanks smaller, the reading gets less on the mileage maybe
Apart from the above mentioned, everything else is just perfect.
WhiteNoise the reasons I am here is coz of the Military. A long time ago I came here on a joint venture training operation with the US Army and the Navy to conduct field operations with the crew down here. My department was language skills as I pick up languages really quick.
Since my time here, I loved it and thought of starting a teaching career here. So now I am here. The only reason I said its lonely coz there aren't many other REAL expat bikers here who enjoy the PCX as much as I do. But I am happily settled down here, got a good life. Things are good. I can buy what I want and the traveling is awesome! Off roading and touring is wonderful. The weather is super and the girls are hot!
You should come here one day. Let's hang out
Thanks for having me on board everyone. I love it and love to meet fellow enthusiasts.

Re: My old Ride from 2011
Cool, so you teach there now. Funny, you sound like a teacher in your videos. Well done I might add. Have to say you guys have a lot of _____ venturing in places that I would only Look at (kinda like Dan did in one of the videos (he filmed "you" going around and to the other side). That would be me too
You test the waters/beach/mud/swamp/sewer/grassland/hills and plains to show the way! That's the teacher in You. Nice. Thanks for answering my nosy questions. I may not comment on all your pics and videos, but I'm happily enjoying the ride(s)
Just a wee comment.....that beach you rode had sooo much washed ashore, I thought you'd flatten your tire before sinking Amazing how the PCX came right back after just a "brief" struggle. Great little scoot (you proved it!)

Re: My old Ride from 2011
Please feel free to call me Tony No need for further formalities on this forum as I guess by now most of yall know me hahaha!
WhiteNoise it's what I do and I love what I do regardless of the situation, TOPIC, stuident or time. My brain is always turned on to share what I know with others. My good buddy Daniel aka Ragnadan on the forum is a good rider and he wants to learn more and more.
Only problem here is that repairing costs of the bike on times such as scratches and loose parts. Me personally I don't care bout the repair costs. I just wanna RIDE and HAVE FUN
Regarding your last comment WhiteNoise, yeah it was a windy stormy day that day on the beach and all that shit had been washed ashore, making it look the most scenic views that Thailand has to offer, but it sure made for one helluva ride!
I made a mistake by NOT deflating that much because I didn't have a portable pump at that time, but I'm purchasing one soon.
Cheers!

Maddie it's not Somaliasurfer mate! It's SAMILA SURFER. Samila is the name of a beach here in Songkhla Province, South Thailand where I live. It's ok but the riding there is awesome!maddiedog wrote:I've been too busy out riding and hanging out with friends over the holidays to post.
