My New PCX 125
Passed my CBT around 6 weeks ago, the colour I wanted was out of stock so had to wait a month or so until I could get my hands on it.
Got a windscreen and box fitted and I'm really pleased with it.
Pics attached...
Will be using it for a 50mile round commute a few times a week, should be great!
I will definitely be asking questions and checking this forum as I go...
I'm based down in Cornwall and this is my first ever bike, never driven a car, mid 40's :-)

Nice scooter!
40, no car?? Public transport, or??
Sadly, PT not an option for many Americans.
Good job waiting for the Red!! Only proper colour for a Honda.

Re: My New PCX 125
Never driven a car, been lucky enough to live close to work.
Also lived in London for many years, so never had the need to drive really.
My wife drives, but now I need to get around to work myself and public transport down here is not good :-)

That's the first official Honda windshield that I've seen for the ABS model. Phoned the dealer and he told me that it costs around £170 / $225.

Haha! No worries, We will make the magic happen
Congrats on passing! Nice PCX! Ok, so you Never drove a car, and this is you're first scoot.
My very first thought: be mindful. You've just added some length to your new scoot > a projecting tail box with some added weight (especially when filled). It changes the dynamics of riding a bit, so bank that info in yer head. Many members ride with higher screens, they seem to appreciate them, I wish you the same. Enjoy and be Safe...Always.

I'm round Falmouth way, mine's for pleasure and riding to work a few times a week.
If the weather is too bad, I'll work from home or get the bus/train in...

Let us know how you get on with the screen - you must be one of the first to have this particular design.

Will do, spending all of Saturday getting used to slow riding techniques, then riding up to where I work.
Looking forward to it!

Remember that cornering is tricky if you get too close to the curb. Everything ends up there after a rain so it could be slippery.

Re: My New PCX 125
Thanks for sharing the pics!!! I am in my early 40tys and have not passed my driving test. But have owned a Honda PCX 125 for 4 years not, I just bought a New Honda PCX 125 today as I wrote my other one of a few weeks ago.
But this bike is a little bit more expensive than my old one these are £3000 my old one was £2699, from the photo's your taken makes it look like the old one, but I have seen one close up. The new bike is a bit wider than the old one and the tyres on them are wider and the rims are bigger. they do come fitted with city grip as standard what is great!!! Their is more helmet space under the seat. The suspension has been upgraded on them they have changed the engine.
I have seen a great review on the new Honda Pcx but like it says in the review this is not a cheap scooter anymore its a premium scooter now.
I hope you enjoy your Honda pcx and you have a great bike their!!! and Enjoy!!!
I did not have a screen fitted as I thought that £170 was a little bit much for a screen. I will see how I get on with out the screen I did have one fitted on my old honda PCX. I will see how I feel with out one.

See that sign that says Training office...well the bikes above it are from those who failed. Nobody can explain how they ended up putting their bikes up there, but in any case, they failed. Ride careful, and don't fail. No one knows how to get them down again. Instead, they just buy another bike.
