Hot dog....Gowers Drug Store...?
If I had it all over again maybe I'd try to marry a good looking rich woman who owned a Pizza place, had a Vespa, and insisted that to have a happy life one must ride every NOW and THEN no matter what!We have a daughter who lives in California and her motto seems to be "Live in the now". She works in the movie industry...who doesn't out there... and is now over 40. She has no money in the bank, no 401k, no house, but she has one heck of a wardrobe, including lots of leather goods. Yep, live in the now...Then when you can no longer find employment you can beg for all of that from your relatives. After all, you had a 30 year vacation and "lived in the now".
Mel46 wrote:Your answer is Close. Very close. I find that it takes me much longer to do things, and if I am in my shop in the basement, time just goes by. I have no clock down there so I am usually surprised when my wife tells me it is dinner time. I have a computer on one side of my shop and a workshop on the other...with the bikes in between. There are always things to do down there. Fix things, look up things, work on ideas, etc. It is like my own little world.
But I just do things in slow motion now.

OldG, where is that windmill? On L.I.? In the town of the Hamptons? Nah, it must be by you. Lovely.
