2nd attempt for 2019 ride

Post by fish »

Flat tire yesterday aborted my 1st 2019 attempt.
Today, no rain and a great ride with the plugged tire, 50 degrees so NO faulty Gerbing gloves needed.

Nice greeting at the coffee shop from the proprietor & the 6 AM Loafers , "Hey, Happy New Year Scooter Man!" I replied warmly, "Get a job?"
I whispered to Dino to take this $ for their coffee tomorrow.

Sun not up yet, so...

Scoot got a wash, blow dry and spent 1.5 hrs applying ACF-50 again. Until I find some working heat gloves, might be awhile after looking at sunrise temps for the next 2 weeks.

Hmmm...well, if the gloves don't work I recall someone having riding mitts that stay attached to the bike. I don't know if they work well, but it is an option. There are also the wind guards you can easily attach to your scooter. I'll bet the riders who live in Scotland have some good suggestion too. They spend a lot of time riding in ugly weather.

Faulty Gerbing gloves are rare - they get great reviews from those riding in sub-zero temps.
