Removing the hump from the seat.
I have a 2010 PCX and want to remove the hump from the seat. Has anyone done this before. Yes, a seat replacement is in the pipeline. But I want to know how to do it and what to look out for. tia

Re: Removing the hump from the seat.
Once you remove the Bolt on butt rest, you will also have to go to the underside and remove the plastic where the butt rest bolts in. Then you could glue something on the bottom to cover the hole, stuff some kind of stuffing into the hole from the top, and duct tape over the hole at the top. As a temporary fix, that should solve the problem. You could then get a seat cover of some sort to go over the top to protect the tape from your butt rolling it up. That is about it.

Search "Takegawa shocks-280MM"
See my post (with pic's) was supposed to be under "Humpectomy"
but I guess I screwed that up.

Thanx all for the heads up and suggestions. Next time I go to Thailand I'll grab a seat to suit my taste.

This seems to be the place to go to if you want a custom PCX seat:

I ordered my custom seat through this site and could have it custom built with a little more leg room. They get their seats from the people in that first link, except they handle custom measurements as well.
