Re: next size up tyre
Or better yet. I want to match the sizes that are coming stock on the 2018. So I believe it is 100/80/14 and 120/70/14? I am seeing these 2018's (of course more now that I want the tyres) all over town and they look great. I personally want it for other reasons, but the look is an added benefit.

Re: next size up tyre
I got a 2018 french model, and the new size is 100-80-14 and 120-70-14 rear.
It is a significant size change from the previous model and the tires looks way bigger. (i owned a 2017 too)
I can confirm the handling is better in corners. (and ABS is a huge improvement)
But the rims are way wider or the new model, especially the rear one.
Front goes from 1.85 to 2.15 and rear from 2.15 to 3.50 !
I think the new size tires can fit on the older rims but maybe the tires will have a more "round shape" and will appear narrower than the stock 2018 model.

Interesting news. I may need to rethink this i f the rims are wider. May not work out well... Where did you get the rim sizes from?Givestrong wrote:I got a 2018 french model, and the new size is 100-80-14 and 120-70-14 rear.

Re: next size up tyre
I am betting that the new size tires will fit the older model PCX. However, finding them may be a bit of a challenge, especially since many manufacturers have not ramped up production of the new sizes yet. Still, I would love to be able to try the new sizes on my bike.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

How much do you want to bet? Let's just bet my money back if they don't fit.Mel46 wrote:I am betting that the new size tires will fit the older model PCX. Never a good idea to have a bet with only your money.

Well I've managed to put bigger size tyres on my 2015 UK PCX and went
Front 90/100/14 up to 120/70/14
Rear 100/100/14 up to 140/70/14
Tiny packers/distances on air filter box and rear hugger and looks lovely and handles even better

Rear 100/100/14 up to 140/70/14
