Forza at 65-70mph with 135 lbs rider

I took mine for it's first good run the other day and it did 110-120km/h easy with my 80Kg's plus gear. I took it to 140km/h easy. Then again that was indicated speed not real speed. I have the taller windscreen and I reckon that gives better aero than the small screen at speed.

wish list for the forza
1. Pirelli Diablo tires- they transformed the handling on my for sale Hd200, the Hd had stock Duros tires
2. top case- it has a givi rack from the previous owner but I prefer Shad cases because they can open and close without a key which to me is a big benefit.

My stock Dunlop tires at 4700 miles have a ton of tread left but I am replacing them with Pirelli Diablo set. I just don't enjoy the feel of Dunlop tires. The Smartscoot are either squared off or designed to give a rather flat response to handling. I had the Diablos on my old HD200 and I was always impressed with them.

There is a new Diablo Rosso Scooter tires that is out now but not in the rear 140 stock size so I did not get them.

Getting used to the extra weight of the Forza is the big thing. I went from 297 wet weight to 422 pds. Holding it at a stoplight is adding some extra leg muscles when you lean to one side. I am pretty impressed with it freeway riding. Can pass cars within reason and no major vibrations at high speeds.

Canadian gallon is Superior to anything else, see.

But that shitty Forza meter would only show miles per US gallon -- I have no idea why. Translating
this to 'real', brit , faraminous numbers requires enormous mental abilities, something only
canadians are capable of . In my case, I once saw 107. Beat us.

I am 58 so I grew up using gallons and liters. I could calculate it in pints if I really wanted to. It is all just a number.

If the number gets smaller than usual I need to investigate and fix any problems.

I had an argument in the grocery store a while back. The meat department uses whatever number that they think will sell the most. The hamburger is sold by the pound, some meat is sold by the kg while the more expensive meats are sold by the per 100 grams. Some is sold by 3 per $8.00. The whole process is meant to confuse you into thinking expensive meat is cheaper than cheap meat. A bunch of fraud artists.

ps The Canadian Dollar is not the same as the American Dollar. A pity.

Forza eco meter only goes up to 99 if set to mpg, so if you go over 100mpg you need to change it to one of the metric settings to get the consumption figure.

Ok, someone got this going again.

My very best fuel use was 104.8 miles per Canadian gallon or 37.3 km per litre or 37,300 km per cubic meter of gasoline.

A cubic meter of gasoline is 1000 litres or about $1249 Canadian dollars right now.

I have 94,577 km on my 2014 Forza 300 right now so about 2.5 cubic meters if it was all done really slow or I guess about 3 cubic meters at normal pace (?)

All told I have spent $15,774.41 Canadian dollars on this silly scooter and had a GREAT TIME doing it.

Someone bumped my old post. My landlord has to get a water license for his 4 wells.

Nestle has a water bottling plant in Hope, BC where I live. They pay $2.25 to the government for each million litres of water they pump out of the ground.

I wish gasoline was that price. $2.25 gets me 1.8 litres of gas but Nestle gets 1,000,000 litres of water.

Poland Spring, the old water company from Maine, is just a subsidiary of Nestle now. It's in the fine print when you read the water bottles.

Nestle is looking very long range into the future.

They've even sold the chocolate candy business in the U.S. to an Italian company, Ferrero Rocher.

Nestle wants to be involved more in human health type products moving forward.

Also the climate changes and weird plant diseases have hindered cocao production in various parts of the world. Enjoy it while you can!
