BMW - 2019 C 400X

Post by WhiteNoise »

Oh My,
the White and Black with the Red and Black Saddle - did yas see it? Sizzling Eye Appeal!

Have we discussed this Scoot yet? If so, sorry and please point me in that direction.
If not, can I have some opinions? I'm bad, I built one online this morning.

"Don't you look at me that way WN, with those big bulbous eyes...I'm just window shopping"

Almost certainly, their "400" is actually a 350.
I would bet its just a Downtown 350 engine in a different frock.

What's it gn2 that's feckin horrible about the 400X that you're favoring the GT? (Actually Both 350's) -
Headlights? Body Style? Dash? Seat/Seating Position? Motor? Storage/Lack of? Economy/Lack of? Top Speed? :? I knows it ain't the price, Both costly. But GT will be how much more?

"In other words....." What's the diff between these siblings, X and GT? (Manufacturers should have a model line-up X, Y, and Z......it just makes sense and easier to recall. Just sayin') :D

The 2019 (2020?) GT Model has Not arrived in the U.S.....Yet!
By the end of this video there's mention of it's arrival in 2019 - Oct/Nov. Known as Late Fall into Winter.

After seeking out photos of the two models (X and GT) I'm disliking the headlights on the X.
See yerselves - a few pics of both:

The first two are the C400 X - followed by last two the C400 GT.
I think I'm starting to SEE what you see gn2 8)

The X has assymetric headlamps and an adventure beak therefore is hideous.
The GT is better looking but still too angular.
Me likes curves.

Ok, that was simple. I See the "beak" and lack of curves. Tis all a matter of visual taste then.
Bikes themselves, Fabulous? Both models worth the $$? Cadillac of scoots are they? (I use vehicle brand "cadillac" loosely), you get my drift ;)

I've yet to see a 400X on the road. The Burgman, Silverwing, Ruckus, Metropolitan, Downtown, Vespa's and Can Am's ride the roads here (and me PCX). Oh and a few of those Slingshots :geek:

Bikes themselves... Kymcos in party frocks.
Wouldn't touch one with a barge pole.
Far rather have a real Kymco.
