I have already had a couple of slow leaks and a flat on my 2013 PCX150.
Question to all of you: Can one add a tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) to the rear of the PCX-150 like on a car ?
It would give me greater reassurance each day, before heading out on a 30 mile journey.

Not an endorsement because I've never used them but I remember seeing this and thinking I'd buy if the price came downOldGuywhoTinkers wrote:I have already had a couple of slow leaks and a flat on my 2013 PCX150.

Re: Tire pressure monitoring sensors
I've used fobobike sensors on two different vehicles, and found this one to work just as well, at about half the price…

Re: Tire pressure monitoring sensors
A PSI tip - from experience:
If the scooter is rolling with a little extra resistance when you move it out in the dark for a ride.
Stop!
it is not a suddenly dragging brake - one of your tires is seriously under inflated!
I made it about 1/2 mile before nearly dumping the scoot in the first curve.
Had a screw in the rear Michelin!

Re: Tire pressure monitoring sensors
+1
When I took My bikes out of winter storage a few weeks ago I noticed that mine was now rolling as smoothly as my wife's did. I started my bike and rode it down the street at a slow speed, turned it around slowly and rode it back. Sure enough, it did not feel right, so I checked the tire pressure. The front read 23 psi and the rear was in the teens! I have not found any leaks, but after pumping them up to what their recommended pressures were, the bike was back to its great feel again. I am letting it sit for a week and then will check the pressure again. That should let me know if either tire has a slow leak.
