My new 2013 Forza
Picked up my first Forza last week, 2013 model with 1050 miles on it, old fella had it from new but found it hard to manage in his 80s, had been dealer serviced every 300 plus miles also, its like new, prefer black over the white but prices seemed to be creeping up in dealers when the sun came out so snapped it up, this week i have fitted a taller puig screen and today fitted some adjustable levers, loving it so far if a little thirsty but i do thrash it about, mate just bought an X adv so been having fun around the doors so far, be more out soon on other scoots so should be a fun summer.

Thirsty?
Should easily do 70+mpg even if you're giving it the berries.

Re: My new 2013 Forza
Were you REALLY running on vapors, or were you believing your (primarily decorative) fuel gauge? I usually fill up at 150 miles, and fully expect to get 180 miles out of a tank. The fuel consumption calculator seems quite good and usually shows 65-68 MPUSG, Forza 300 tank is around 3 gallons (again US), so I'm not nervous until I get over 160-170 miles. My gauge shows empty somewhere around 110 miles.
On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

I wont risk it miles from home with no petrol stations.

Fill to brim.
Zero trip A
Ride till trip A is double the ecometer reading.
At this point you have half the ecometer distance left.
e.g. ecometer says 80mpg and trip A distance is 160 miles, you've got 40 miles left
That meter is very accurate but you have to brim the tank full every time
(tank is 2.5 gallons)

Re: My new 2013 Forza
Mine is good for 300 km plus a little more (20-30 km) depending on winds & speeds.
From empty I get about 100 km more.
100 km on that little island is a long way.

The fuel gauge is pretty accurate till half full and then the needle drops like a stone and is totally inaccurate. Just fill up when the trip meter is double the large MPG figure on the dash - usually about 150 miles, and you will only fit about 9 litres in the tank, so, in theory, you would have had another 35-40 miles to go before the petrol tank was empty. Also, check with a Honda dealer as there have been recalls for the fuel pump(2) and one for the starter relay.
