keeps bogging at full throttle only, really need help to fix
Honda PCX150 2015,
this has been going on for a while now, and I thought it had to do with my coil wire spark plug, the connection plug was broken.
I finally got another coil and wire/plug and a new spark plug got it installed and still having the same issue.
When I pull the handlebar throttle all the way ( no matter if I'm going 0 mph of full speed ) once I pull it all the way the bike just Boggs, if I let off 1-2 mm it goes back to going full speed or normal accelerating.

Have you checked that the air intake/filter is clear?

I have not recently, however it was doing this when I had changed it to a new one, but I will look at it

So it has being doing it for a while? Any significant event just before it started? Servicing, mods etc?
I’d change the plugs and set the valves first, giving the engine a good look over at the same time. Just to eliminate things.
I’d be suspecting air/fuel if it was bogging at full revs rather than a misfire.
Re: keeps bogging at full throttle only, really need help to
no mods , just dr pulley sliders , yes been doing it for a while and i do not recall anything besides noticing the broken coil spark wire plug , , coil wire and spark plug just changed and still doing it, i dont think doing the valves will do anything since this happens at 0 speed and runs fine as long as i dont twist 100 percent , if i twist 98% everything runs good and the bike goes up to 70 mph ( just a pain in the ass trying to keep twisting to 98% throttle ,you you wrote:MaLLoc wrote:you you wrote:

Not familiar with your model but do you know if there is a throttle position sensor (TPS)?

You may be on to something . . ..Not familiar with your model but do you know if there is a throttle position sensor (TPS)?
This thread initiated by alx123 was on the forum some time ago and when the "TPS" was replaced on his machine it solved the problem. Evidently it's more common on PCX's than one would think.

Let us know how it goes?
Re: keeps bogging at full throttle only, really need help to
honestly, the part is like 60 bucks and its not worth it since the throttle works perfectly till last 2% , if that changes then i would change the part outyou you wrote:Let us know how it goes?

At least you got to the reason even if you are just going to live with it.
No need to say thank you.
Re: keeps bogging at full throttle only, really need help to
Might be possible to reset the TPS rather than buy a new one.
Is the throttle cable slack set to the correct amount?

I was also wondering if something could be reset for a while, hasn't been touched since owned it, and there doesn't seem to be any slack at allgn2 wrote:Might be possible to reset the TPS rather than buy a new one.

Re: keeps bogging at full throttle only, really need help to
There should be slack in the throttle cable, the throttle handle should rotate a couple of millimetres before the cable inner starts being pulled through the outer.
