I found out yesterday that my helmet doesn't fit under the seat without forcing it in and bending the seat a fraction so I'll be needing a bigger top box to put the helmet in when I'm parked plus provisions for a second one for a pillion.
The Givi mounting plate and the Honda mounting plate is the same, if that was your question.

My life isn't nearly that exciting! I'm flattered though.

keep in mind that you will have to do some drilling to fit the rack, but it is not a big deal so dont be scared by that! maybe someone can post a walkthrough on that.
I was under the impression that the Monokey cases fit also. I've not seen it in-person, but someone else on here was sharing a monokey between their PCX and a larger bike (I think it was a Versys). I can't find the post though.

the plate that comes with and is designed to fit the E231 is for monolock cases. the mounting plates are different for monolock and monokey cases. you might be able to get a monokey universal mouting plate on the E231. maybe somebody will chime in that they have done that. i recommend sticking with the monolock cases and keeping the weight you load in them down.

the help of a friend from the Netherlands I was able to source the correct vfr topbox baseplate. I married that to the standard OEM base plate and now I have a vfr1200 topbox I can swap out between bikes. The paint is almost the same but not quite, you have to be really looking at it to tell the difference.
So he did have to mod/ adapt it.
I have both monolock and monokey cases. The mounting system/ baseplates are NOT compatible, sorry.
If you want to use a monokey, you should buy a monokey universal baseplate in addition to the E231. I bet it will fit but it would be a good idea to be able to return the stuff if it doesn't.
