Honda NC750X DCT... how does it compare to a PCX?
Obviously, this is a bit of a larger bike, but marketed toward the commuter/urban segment. It looks like a great machine that would also do great on long highway trips. Has anyone ridden one? How is low speed maneuverability in a city environment? Easy to filter on, etc? Is it an enjoyable bike to ride around the city?

Yes, I've ridden the NC700X DCT and the NC750X manual, and also the NC750S in both manual and DCT versions.
Low speed manoeuvrability is excellent, the weight is low and the upright riding position and wide bars of the X give excellent control.
DCT is better than manual in town, fully auto = really easy to ride, manual = hard work by comparison.
Filtering is the same as any half decent bike, but not as good as the much smaller PCX.
Side cases get in the way.
I think the DCT is superb and definitely worth having, model wise I prefer the S to the X but I believe the S didn't make it across the pond, which is a shame.
As for enjoyable around the city, down to personal taste.
In my opinion, DCT yes, manual not so much.
Highway trips, perfect, lollops along at low rpm sipping fuel, very relaxing indeed.
PCX utterly useless on highway by comparison, not anywhere remotely close.

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

However, the PCX shines when it comes to in town riding and maneuvering., where you don't need a lot of horsepower but you do need to fit into tight places and turn quickly. I have had all sorts of bikes and my PCX is much better in town than almost all of them. That does not mean that I wouldn't love to have a NC700X DCT. They are ideal for freeway riding with some in town riding. (As opposed to lots of in town riding and only getting on the freeway when you absolutely have to, which is what the PCX150 is good at.)
Currently own:

I had a CTX700, it’s a nicer road bike but 200 lbs more than a pcx, and you can feel it around town.
The two are apples and oranges....

An NC700/750 is what I'm aiming for as my next distance work bike.
Just waiting 'til one comes up in my price range.
Only problem I've heard of with them is a manufacturer recall for the DCT boxes over a 2 year period (stops changing gear).
125mph & 70-80mpg, what's not to like

Over the hill and picking up speed on the long downhill unto death.
