New PCX150 - Needs a bit of repair
My daughter just bought a 2018 PCX150.
My other daughter hit a high curb on her first ever ride of that bike, and now it needs some repair.
Damage visible here: http://teamtj.net/pcx150.jpg
I'm looking at parts to replace the damaged white piece and need some help. Is this the correct part?
https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/20 ... sch1024796
Part 5
https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/de ... ch=1024796
Thanks!
(Had to edit the title...I drive a CTX700 and habit made me type CTX150... :-) )

That looks like the part, but I would wait on installing it until they have finished crashing it.
Here is the site I use for my parts.

That's the plan, but hopefully we are free of crashes!Mel46 wrote:...I would wait on installing it until they have finished crashing it.
Thanks for the link. Pretty good prices for all the parts we need...
Now to figure out if we can do the replacement ourselves, or need to take it to the dealer.

The bottom panel should be easy enough, though the black panel will be problematic. I am not sure about your particular year model but on my 2013 models the black piece has tabs that connect it to the pieces above it.

This might help. It shows what has to be removed in what order on the panels.

I don't know about that, relic. I have 3 daughters and 3 sons. I had more problems with the sons than the daughters. They kept trying to test Darwin's Theory. It is a wonder that they made it to adulthood.
TeamTJ,
Of course. I have various .pdf versions and a full 2013 paper SM. When my last bike is sold someone will get a gold mine in options.

Oof... I did the same thing on my first ride. I didn't get it repaired because I kind of like the reminder.TeamTJ wrote:My other daughter hit a high curb on her first ever ride of that bike, and now it needs some repair.

Re: New PCX150 - Needs a bit of repair
Hi TeamTJ welcome aboard. Sorry about the "it happened already" scrape.
It is what it is now and a lesson hopefully learned.
Papa's has a lesson too....
to tear that scene off (gently) and replace it. And yes, I agree that those inexpensive plastic removal tools (from Harbor Freight or Amazon) are a must have.
No worries, Mel's got your back, he has hands on experience so he's steering you right.
If you wish to purchase a service manual and live in the U.S., you can purchase one here:

Many of us have and have Not regretted it. You have seen a few samples already. Worth the $$
I have one request, please go back into your profile and complete your location. I have directions below my post to get that done. We tend to forget, that We're from all over the globe. Our bikes differ so location will help us all in the end solving puzzlements
Happy trails and tooling
