Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
As mentioned, take care of them.....although....have been negligent about the valve check. The way it's running, actually getting some of the best MPG readings now. Broke 130 mpg recently. Still rides as usual. Don't think it's still "breaking in" ....do Ya? : ) Currently at 51,230 miles. No valve check planned....runs too well.
Tried to upload a picture [odometer].... but not working.....down sized to 2 mp's still won't load?
(Edit: 7/22-pic okay now? ~WN~)

130 mpg, and you're not using those gigundo imperial gallons? Awesome! MY best is a snick over 100. Keep your scoot FOREVER!!!
On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I think you are the winner for most documented miles on a PCX. If it runs good and sounds good, just change the oil regularly and keep on riding. Don't forget to come home occasionally. :-)

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I did my valve check on pcx at 14,000miles and still within the spec
I think long as you use decent oil aswell the valves wont get out of spec as I remember my Piaggio I checked every 20,000km and never went out of spec

Drove about 3,500 miles, mostly around the city, also using the original synthetic oil 10W30, fuel consumption as the passport to the PCX.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
At 26,000 miles now and I haven't checked my valves as well, changed gear oil only once I think too.
Spark plug still the suing same one when I bought the scoot.
It's mostly just oil at 6000 kms and air filter every 2 oil change interval.

His PCX 2013 is beating my 2016 in fuel mileage, mine averages around 122 mpg (52 km/L).GeorgeSK wrote:130 mpg, and you're not using those gigundo imperial gallons? Awesome! MY best is a snick over 100. Keep your scoot FOREVER!!!

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
No mods.....just EZ on the throttle/brakes. Have noticed my back wheel spins [on center stand] more easily since my drive belt
is over due for a change. Thinking less tension/friction?? Most often in the the 120's [mpg] during summer. 110 mpg in Winter.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I find that if I "baby" the scooter, i.e., very modest speeds (40 mph or less) and very gentle on the throttle, I get about 105 mpg (I only have 600 miles on the odometer). My normal, more "spirited" riding, results in a typical 90 mpg and sometimes less. Pulling out from traffic light I normally am twisting the throttle to full pin, and I usually end up riding at 55 plus a good portion of any ride that I take, even running errands in town. And 85 mpg or 90 mpg is great, as far as I am concerned. On my Goldwing I typically get about 38, or maybe 40 on a good day, so whatever the PCX gets seems great to me.
