Trailer Hitch
Has anyone ever hooked up a trailer hitch? Found a small trailer for my kayak and wondered if anyone else ever tried a trailer??

Re: Trailer Hitch
One of the options I'm considering.
If you extend the rack mounting threads out of the bottom of the grabrail you should be able to mount one to the underside.

Re: Trailer Hitch
That looks scarey! All of the pulling pressure will be on the upper rack. You need to add a stabilizer bar to the swingarm.

Looks like a lot of leverage from here. I agree with Mel - scary.

Re: Trailer Hitch
Limey, you and I are on the same page
I'm now typing.....
"Put a propeller on it!"
Seriously....Be safe(r), secure that shaft to the scoot. Listen to Mel. I think this is (as they say), "a no-brainer." Hey! We Care
Then I'll be anxious to See everything in it's place. Please share a pic!!
Just found this in my library of pics. Cool! Do we consider this safe?

Re: Trailer Hitch
that s a standard trailer hitch and due to the forces it can put on a motorcycle it can jackknife a bike. There isn't the side to side and up and down a good motorcycle trailer hitch is suppose to have. I know lots of people use them but that doesn't mean it cant wipe you out in the end. It all depends on the road , speed etc.
