Screens for 2019 model
I have seen a couple of options for screens for the 2019 model. The Honda touring screen and the New Givi. I have only seen the Givi in clear but the shape looks nicer than the Honda touring screen. Anyone fitted one yet?

Hi, Link below, it does also require a fitting kit that's linked to in the advert:WhiteNoise wrote:Thanks UK Picxie! Would you be kind enough to share a photo or web link(s) to those 2019 screens? If you're seeking one, this is Great News!

Re: Screens for 2019 model
Thank you for the response and link!
Here's the 2018-2019 Givi 1129DT mid-size windscreen we're writing about: Nice looking screen
I can see the changes Givi made since their 2011 model.
I clicked your link before my posting and they're now stating it's "out of stock." Sorry UK peeps.
Hmm, maybe you can write to them on their page - get on a wait list?
Just a thought.
Did you get yourself one before the sell out UK Picxie?

Re: Screens for 2019 model
It’s a bit hard to tell how dark that is from the picture. Hopefully these will start to become more available now. I’ll keep an eye out for UK sellers so the shipping isn’t expensive.Mel46 wrote:Like this??

1129D is the dark one.

Re: Screens for 2019 model
I emailed Revzilla. They can get them for a decent price shipped to our door (for US customers-). I may pull the trigger.

Ordered it. I went with transparent. Once it arrives I will install and review it. There is not much information for the 2019 model in English.

Re: Screens for 2019 model
It has arrived. I cracked the piece of trim removing it off the scooter. Once that was dealt with the windshield came off and the new one went on in only a few minutes. It came with new mounting hardware to relocate the factory holes. Not sure why they chose to do that.

Does anyone know why the photos get uploaded upside down? I’m using Safari on an iPhone.

Re: Screens for 2019 model
Photo rotation is a PITA. All the software and operating systems are trying to make you life convenient and do all this stuff for you - the only way I can be sure that a pic gets posted 'right" is to use a computer, bring the picture into Gimp and get the orientation the way I want, then re-save it as a new pic. Lots of times it works fine without that level of fadiddiling, but sometimes the programs just INSIST how I am supposed to want the photo to appear.
Back on topic - the screen looks pretty nice! Air will get deflected, but it doesn't look so high that it will collect mist/rain. Very cool.

On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Looks the right way up here in Oz, but I'm having trouble reading all the upside down text.

Re: Screens for 2019 model
Sorry Racer, I tried to rotate your photos to an upright position and had no luck. I previewed them and they kept defaulting to your posted views above.
I use a Samsung S and iPad to post photos and I must say I've never had this problem...but then, I post sooo few photos
Where ya been JohnL I missed yer upside down humor
