Clear flood mode
I am a bit curious if anyone or everyone knows about clear flood mode? Just like a car you can turn on the ignition and then twist full throttle then push start and the ecm will not open the injectors untill you back off on the throttle. So is this common knowledge? Just curious.

How would you push start a scooter?Mikes150pcx wrote:I am a bit curious if anyone or everyone knows about clear flood mode? It's in all the past owners manuals, page 33 of the older PCX150 pdf I keep a copy of (as I have a 125)

Misunderstood "push start" on the previous post. Took it to mean bump start.Mikes150pcx wrote:I don't know why you asked that?DAB wrote:How would you push start a scooter?Mikes150pcx wrote:I am a bit curious if anyone or everyone knows about clear flood mode? I didn't know there was info on that in the manual! I guess it wasn't important!

Yes, I had to use it while trying to start the PCX that's been sitting for two months.
