Bigdam storm ride~!

Raining lightly - but radar* looks spooky - here it comes.





Was NOT supposed to rain this morning....so, off for a coffee ride into the boonies.
Got caught in the biggest rain and thunder I've ever been in while riding a scooter.
Soon there was no point in stopping under an underpass--- couldn't get any wetter.

The Kymco & Michelins never missed a beat.
With caution - lots of rainbows in the city puddles - no rain in many weeks & lots of oil waiting on the pavement.

Fortunately, I could remember most of the words to Tom's song....
Fish


It was a blast - I looked like I'd stepped out of a lake when I got home.

Life is cruel sometimes . . ..

The upside is you didn't have any fish flapping out of your pockets . . . Fish.

And yes . . . the oil road surface in rain thing . . . may as well be ice . . . totally treacherous . . . especially going over railroad tracks, metal expansion joints on bridges, and manhole covers. Maybe wide painted road surfaces as well.

But what about those fish? And a cameo from the cat?
