About one more week and the trees should be spectacular.
Not much to look at, but that is a famous OSU 'buckeye' tree hanging over my scooter. (so named because its deep brown nut it is the shape & color of a deer's eye)
Almost there. I'm timing it as well. I'm hoping storms don't bare their (=tree) bones before we get to enjoy their (=tree) colorful foliage. That's Fall! Color, lots of Color - A La Natural
Last year (or the year before) I almost missed it

We are watching the leaves here in Georgia as well. The weather this year down in Atlanta was not the best for colorful leaves, but up in the mountains it should be spectacular. It makes for a great ride.

We lost a lot of leaves during the recent wind/rain event but there are still plenty left on the branches and they are indeed starting to render some great color.
Seeing WN's White PCX makes me wish I still had mine!
I'll bet there's some good leaf viewing up near Helen, Ga.

If that old "Buckeye" tree decides to keel over on your scooter not to worry.
The 2020's are already at the dealerships. Where I live they just carry the "S" models. I think I like the paint on the regular ones better. Yours looks too shiny to be an S 150.

Yes, sadly the new ones went to the lovely wax-paper matte finish.
Glad I got in before that happened!
(yrs ago VW used to spray their cars with a dull protectorant, for the ocean crossing. New scooter mattes look just like that stuff)

I saw someone on a motorcycle recently and his bike was painted one of those flat charcoal colors, and he was wearing full colored clothing. As he zipped between cars he melted into the shadows. To me, that is dangerous...not only going in and out of traffic, but also the fact that you couldn't find him in the shadows.

Riding home this morning just at dawn, I passed a bicycle rider going the other direction - dark spandex clothes & helmet, no mirrors, no rear light, head down looking at his knees. This is a 50mph country road with no shoulders.
Wearin' out his angels.
