Sorry the link I posted the other day (seen here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10748&p=139252#p139252 ) was from another PCX review I did.
This Is the Correct One: I go down to the local honda dealer here in Thailand and immediately thrash my new PCX Hybrid to see if it's any good (it is).
Brochure for the Hybrid with specs attached.
I bought it for $3330 including tax license and insurance. The original new model lists for $3066. PCXs are a deal here.

Excellent review!
One of the (if not the best) PCX reviews I've seen.
Right now the demand for scooters in the U.S. could be better.
With the impending spike in oil prices looming on the horizon I suspect that we may see demand increase for these great modes of transportation.
It wouldn't surprise me if Honda brought the new "Hybrid PCX" to these shores once the standard PCX model sales begin to grow $$$.
Time will tell . . ..
That PCX is one sharp looking scooter.

I've been driving the Hybrid for a week now and I've found the sweet spot; going about 25kph in Sport mode and cranking it. Wow! It gets hairy fast. You're at 50 in a second.
Having fun.

Not sure what advantage the Hybrid has over a normal PCX. I've been getting 130-135mpg+ real figures throughout the 5 year life of my LED '14 PCX, worst case in winter. It accelerates from cold quite nicely for town use and has larger under-seat storage. The 'turbo boost' electric add-on does not seem to offer anything of real use - so you can pull away a bit faster from still - hmm.
Not meaning to knock the bike nor for bringing the review to us - but just cannot see what would be the advantage of swapping a fuel only version to this? Then you have the charging and longevity of the battery to consider.

Thanks for the review, I would replace my 2013 Honda PCX in heart beat if the hybrid one was available in the USA. As for your concern Iceman, Lithium batteries last a long time. I wouldn't worry about their longevity. I'm only getting 82 MPG average, so a ten percent increase would be welcomed.
