Hi all I'm looking into 164cc bore kits for a 125CC 2016 ESP LED Model
It is confusing the heck out of me.... I just sent a message to one of the bore kit makers. If you look at this video (Don't judge the guys driving style though he wants to get killed) you can see underneath the video a list of things....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1e5pZtlanw
This is sort of the end result I want to achieve... is it possible to do this step by step (e.g do the bore kit first and then at a later stage change something else or is it better to prepare the bike for the bore kit first? I sort of need a nudge in the right direction as all the information on the internet is super contradicting and confusing....
Cheers in advance

Why not purchase a bigger engined bike?
You will have to declare this major modification to your insurance company otherwise it will be invalid.
The cost - if they do decide to provide cover - it may be very expensive?
Parts / time / possible engine damage etc?
Would it not be cheaper to trade in the 125 for a bigger bike?

It really won't.
Insurance will be a major problem.
Licence issues also.
Want more cubes, get a 250 scooter (or bigger)
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Yes, but the suspicious twat who lives in my head thinks this big bore kit is not going to be declared and the scooter will still be bearing the plates of shame.....?Yorkie150 wrote:would it not be cheaper to trade in the 125 for a bigger bike ?

Buying a bigger bike.. Where is the fun in that... What about the hours of swearing cutting your fingers putting grease on every surface in the kitchen and sleep in the spare room for a week... You can't buy that!!!

I have not modded my bike to this extent but doing the other modifications that I have done has been exciting, fun, and a little scary...and yet it was great to think about what could be done, and then do it! Success is it's own reward.
