Hello!
I recently bought a 2013 Honda PCX 150 with about 14K miles. I am putting back into shape - new tires, belt, coolant, oil, filters, etc.
I installed a Givi B47 Tech Monolock top case with a SR1163 adapter bracket. It looks nice. I decided to add the Givi E126 LED stop light kit. Apparently, I have wired it incorrectly.
With the running lights on, both the scooter tail light and the Givi lights are on. Looks good! However, when I apply the brake, the Givi lights turn off. The scooter brake light brightens normally. When I release the brake, the scooter brake light goes back to normal (running light) and the Givi lights are on as well.
I uploaded photos on my OneDrive. Here is the link: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjegH9gUYRiqgZBLceG ... Q?e=aOzU1s
I was thinking that the Givi lights would be both running and brake. But, maybe they can only be brake lights. Not sure.
I welcome your help on how to wire it correctly.
Thanks!

Re: Wiring problem - Givi E126 stop light kit in B47 top cas
This is an easy fix. What color were the wires that you connected to on the bike? My bet is that you attached to the brown one and the green one. Change the brown connection to the green with yellow stripes. That should fix the problem.
Here are the colors of the wires in the back and their functions:
Brown - always on
Green - GROUND
Green/yellow combination - Brake
Light blue - right turn signal
Orange. - left turn signal

Re: Wiring problem - Givi E126 stop light kit in B47 top cas
Thanks gents! I really appreciate your replies.
Mel, my mechanical skills are slim to none. Thank you for your patience.
The Givi wires were blue and black. My connections were as follows:
Blue (Givi) to Green/Yellow (PCX)
Black (Givi) to Brown (PCX)
So, which wires should I connect together?
Also, can the Givi lights be used as both running and brake, or just brake?
I tried to upload photos, but keep getting a pixel message. I am not sure how to overcome that. See the link in my original post for the thread to my OneDrive. It has about 30 photos including wiring.
Thanks again!

Re: Wiring problem - Givi E126 stop light kit in B47 top cas
Found this on Twisted Throttle under "Honda" for the Givi E126 LED stop light kit:
Tail Lights - Brown with White stripe
Brake Lights - Green with Red or Yellow stripe
Left Turn Signal - Orange
Right Turn Signal - Light Blue
High Beam Headlight - Blue
Low Beam Headlight - White
Ground - Green
Just as you described, Mel. While that is helpful, I am dumbfounded that I cannot find any instructions from Givi or anywhere else on how to connect their blue and black wires.
So, I still don't know what to do. I welcome your instructions. Thanks again!

Usually black is used as ground in most commercial uses, so connect the black to the solid green of the bike. The green with yellow stripes will go to the Givi blue wire.
In answer to the question about connecting the lights for always on AND brake, you will need a diode kit in order to do that, so I would say to just wait on that particular upgrade until you have fixed the brake light problem and are happy with it. Remember that you can always add more lights to the bucket.
Here is a picture of the tail lights on my 2013 PCX with a Givi top box. Notice that there are quite a few extra lights, so it can be done.
