Pcx 125 2014 front wheel help

Post by ronialdo »

Hi guys! My first post here, just bought my first scooter and it's a pcx! (Been a Honda fan for ages).
I need to service the front fork as in change o rings + dust seals, replace the front breaking disk and change the break pads.
Can anyone help me with the tehnical specs for all of my job please as I can't find any torque measures or the amount of oil that goes in the fork!
Thanks in advance!
Be safe out there! :D 8)

If you mean the fork oil seals, just use a sealmate, or home-made alternative.

I am sure that the forks are the same but my manuals are for a 150cc. Somewhere I have an manual for a 2011 125, but there might have been changes in 2014.

This video here might help you a bit. Not so much maybe on the correct amounts of oil and stuff but disassembly. Not that its hard to do. Matter of fact i disassembled my front fork today.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q81TcIfJQ_0

Its a bit all over the place but you might learn something you will find useful. dunno
Im pretty sure you didnt need help in the disassembly part but i figured it wouldnt hurt.

ronialdo, would you mind going into your profile and adding your general location please. As you can tell, this is an international forum. That means that there could be some differences between bikes just because Honda decided to do that. I don't think there are any differences in the front forks, but there are different colors and panels in different regions, as well as the 125cc engine vs the 150cc engine.

Having your location visible each time you respond helps us direct your answers to those who can best help you. Thanks!
By the way, we are bound by copyright laws on this forum, so we can't just attach manuals to open threads. What happens in emails is a different story though  :P (that is a hint)
