I had to change my front brake pads after 10'500 km. They were totally worn out. Is it normal? I don't ride sporty and I don't brake hard.
This is my first maxi-scooter and I expected brake pads to last at least until my 18'000 km service. What's your experience?

Re: Front brake pads gone after 10'500 km
Have a 2013 PCX. My pads made it to 38,631 miles. Not much stop &go.
Mostly back road riding. Often depending on the engine decompression.

Totally normal, I ride very sporty and my pads are almost dead at 4,000 miles. A lot of stop and go riding will eat them up quick. They are at least easy to change.

The Forza's seem prone to early front brake wear - many don't get much more than 4-5000 mikes. The PCX mentioned is a different beast and does not suffer like the Forza does (just seems to be a feature)

Thanks for your replies. It's at least a bit reassuring that I am not doing something wrong to eat my pads too early.
