Question About the Seat Shock/Strut
I noticed there is a little strut at the front of the seat. However, it does not hold the seat up at all for me. Is it supposed to? If so, how do you get at it to change it?

Re: Question About the Seat Shock/Strut
My 2013 didn't stay up by itself, no strut or support - I just leaned it over against the front. Now my 2016 does stay up by itself, so they obviously changed it around that time.

Use a stick
Re: Question About the Seat Shock/Strut
I believe they were recalled, or at least Honda has offered an improved strut.
Too nice a scooter to be using a stick.
Can your dealer help you?
They've seen this before.

Re: Question About the Seat Shock/Strut
I got this Honda part number 83590-K04-932 from a previous post. It is for the damper used in later models of the Forza that do not have this problem. I have not gone through the trouble of replacing mine so I can't attest to the results but the other poster said that it is a direct fit and solved the problem. Good luck.

Thank you. My 15 seat annoyingly won't stay up. I might spring for the new damper.
