Alarms?

Re: Alarms?
Alarms are useless, they just let you know that your scooter is being stolen, they do absolutely nothing to stop it.
If you are going to spend money on security get big strong chains, locks and an anchor point.

Re: Alarms?
Im thinking about for at work. I work in a busy area so if someone were trying to do it; it would at least detour them.
Re: Alarms?
If it alerts me to when it is being stolen my .45 will take it from there....gn2 wrote:Alarms are useless, they just let you know that your scooter is being stolen, they do absolutely nothing to stop it.

I have the Gorilla 8007 being delivered Weds. I will park on the side stand most of the time as I did my HD. Just habit I guess. For the cost of this alarm you cannot go wrong. Even if the theiving little %$@# dropped the scotter and ran I will be happy.kyle6357 wrote:What alarms have you all installed on your PCX 150s?
I looked at the Gorilla BUT its a mercury sensor so its not the most idea since you store the bike upright.
Any suggestions?

Re: Alarms?
There aint that many folks walking around with AR15's. Especially if they are stealing a scooter. And if they want to bring the AR I will match that without a problem.

Yeah you could mount the Tilt Sensor as if the neutral position was upright too, figure someone would prob tilt bike a bit if they were messing with it.
The shock sensor is what is nice.

Very nice. Can't imagine Gaston Glock is too happy with it
I never got around to having a 45 ACP whilst I could. Looked good to reload.
Enjoy. You never know when it is going to disappear

Re: Alarms?
I just received the Gorilla 8007 and am happy with what it does. It is loud enough to just mount under the seat near the battery for easy wiring. I just hooked it up quick to see how loud it was. After I get it installed I can takes some pictures or a video. And you can mount the tilt sensor anyway you like.

Re: Alarms?
Please do! Do you find the tilt sensor helpful? How did you mount it? I plan to keep it sitting up using center stand most.....jlhog wrote:I just received the Gorilla 8007 and am happy with what it does. The guy from the company was helpful and said you can either unplug it or use it and just adjust for that way.
