Hi all just abit of advice really, yesterday I forgot to take off my disc lock on my Forza 125 and unfortunately its craked the front brake caliper mount that attaches the caliper to the forks so its now in 2 pieces
The bike runs but you can feel the drag due to the caliper rubbing and also when braking it makes a slight grinding sound so im only using the back brake now
Ive called the garage today and they cant get the bike in for another 2 weeks but I need to use it on tuesday, thye have the parts in stock that i can collect and do it myself but does any one know if this will be an easy or hard job?
Pics are attached.
Thanks
Gav

Did you break part 14? If so, it's an on off sort of deal. Some of those bolts are on there tight though, but if you have a breaker bar for sockets it should be easy.

yeah part 14 thats broke and its £110 for the new part from my dealer. ive had a look at it and the only thing that confuses me is the big rubber that goes through that and the caliper itself near the base just to the left of the work "nissan" do i just push that back on itself and it pops out.
Ive got all the tools ill need in the farm workshop was just wondering if theres anything complex about it or it should be straight forward thanks

I can’t see why it shouldn’t be simple.
If it was me I’d whip the ABS sensor out straightaway and tape well out of harms way, and then remove the front wheel for better access.

Yeah the rubber boot you pointed out just keeps the water out. The caliper will just slide out once removed it from the scooter. You will have to move part 17, 10 and 11 to the new part. You have a farm workshop, then I'm sure you can do this job.
